Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Walnut Staff, Students, and Families,

As I begin my second year as Assistant Principal at Walnut Elementary, I want to share how grateful I am to continue serving this incredible community. This past year was truly amazing. Having the opportunity to get to know our students—their curiosity, their joy, their resilience—has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I’ve also deeply appreciated the dedication of our staff and the warm partnership of our families.

Over the past year, I’ve watched classrooms come alive with learning, seen students support one another with kindness, and witnessed staff go above and beyond to ensure every child feels seen and valued. These moments have shaped my understanding of who we are as a school community: a place where every student can thrive because they are surrounded by adults who believe in them.

As we look ahead to the new school year, I’m excited for the work we will continue to do together. We will build on our strengths, deepen our commitment to academic excellence, and expand opportunities for students to grow socially and emotionally. I look forward to strengthening our partnerships with families, supporting our staff in the incredible work they do, and ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and inspired each day.
