Baldwin Park Unified School District is celebrating nine schools recognized by the California PBIS Coalition (CPC) for their outstanding implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), earning top honors for their commitment to fostering positive, inclusive, and supportive school environments.
Schools were recognized during the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14, where administrators, staff, and students proudly represented their campuses and shared the unique practices that make their school communities shine.
The CPC is a statewide collaborative organization dedicated to building the capacity of schools and districts through evidence-based, culturally responsive strategies aligned with the National PBIS framework. Each year, CPC honors schools that demonstrate excellence in implementing PBIS with fidelity through its four-tier recognition system: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
For 2025, Baldwin Park Unified celebrated a historic achievement, with six schools earning the highest Platinum recognition — the most in District history.
